With the winter season upon us, it’s fun to bring a little of that wintry weather indoors with some fun Cotton Ball Painting. Kids will love painting with cotton balls, giving them a new tool to use as they paint, as well as making fun designs for winter. Try this kid craft and see what great winter scenes your child creates!
- Cotton balls
- Craft paint
- Craft paper
- Paper plate and paper towel
- Puffy paint (optional)
Set up your painting station by pouring paint out onto your paper plate. Place your plate and craft paper onto a paper towel to catch any mess.
Dip a cotton ball into the paint and press it into your paper. Make all sorts of winter designs on your paper – snow, rain, clouds, even a snowman. Notice the differences when your background canvas is white or black!
