Shamrock Mini Pizzas
Nothing pleases like pizza does! This saucy, Italian-inspired treat can be prepared almost entirely by kids, and it’s great to eat on the go.
You’ll need:
- English muffins
- Pizza sauce (marinara works fine as a substitute)
- Shredded mozzarella cheese (cheddar will do in a pinch)
- Green peppers for the “shamrock leaves”
- Kitchen scissors
Method:
- Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
- Spread a thin layer of sauce onto each mini pizza crust.
- Sprinkle a generous pinch of cheese on top of the sauce, taking care that it doesn’t spill off the edges.
- Slice the green pepper in half, then use the kitchen scissors to cut out three heart-shaped pieces for each mini pizza plus a stem.
- Arrange the pepper pieces atop the cheese in a shamrock shape.
- Bake for 10 minutes, or until the cheese starts to bubble and brown.

You’ll need:
- One package crunchy breadsticks
- Meltable white or dark chocolate discs
- Green sprinkles
Method:
- Melt the chocolate, either in the microwave or over a stove on low heat, stirring constantly.
- Dip each breadstick into the melted chocolate, let dry, and repeat until you have a nice, thick layer of chocolate built up.
