Supplies for Pumpkin Yarn Art
Draw a pumpkin shape onto your white canvas or paper. You can use a template to trace onto the canvas or draw it freehand.
4. Let your pumpkin dry overnight and it’s ready for display.

- White art canvas or heavy cardstock paper
- Pencil
- Glue
- Yarn
- Scissors
Draw a pumpkin shape onto your white canvas or paper. You can use a template to trace onto the canvas or draw it freehand.
We drew a simple fall pumpkin, but you could also draw your pumpkin into a jack-o-lantern.
Then add glue and begin to place the yarn pieces!
Be sure to follow the glue lines on your canvas.
You can trim the yarn with scissors as you get to edges and start with a new string of yarn with new lines if you can’t curve the yarn.
4. Let your pumpkin dry overnight and it’s ready for display.
