13. How can you put a spotlight on the good qualities you named yesterday?

14. Is there one regret that you’re holding on to? Can you forgive yourself and let it go?

15. What wishes or hopes do you have your children?

16. What will you miss most when this season of parenthood is over? How can you savor it more today?

17. What can you do when you feel angry to keep from yelling? Write 3 actions you can take and plan to use them.

18. Is your to-do list too full? Are you stretched too thin? What can you let go of?

19. What habits do you have that you don’t want your child to pick up? What is your plan for dropping those habits?

20. What is your ultimate parenting goal?

21. What do you want your legacy to be?

Along with each journal prompt, write the answer to the following questions in your journal each day.

  1. Was I present today?
  2. How well did I handle my emotions?
  3. Did I connect with my child today?
  4. Did we play?
  5. What can I improve on tomorrow?
