We’ve all got at least one movie that’s guaranteed to make you cry every time. Maybe it’s Titanic, the Notebook, or Bambi. For the compassionate little toddler in this video, The Chipettes of Alvin and the Chipmunks fame are all takes to get the waterworks flowing.
In this particular Alvin and the Chipmunks cartoon, the Chipetttes find a lost baby penguin that must be returned to its mom. Elenaor, one of the Chipettes chimes in with a tearjerker of a song about a mother’s love. By the time, the Chipettes all join in for the chorus, the little girl is sobbing, overwhelmed with empathy for the poor little penguin.
This video is a great reminder of the power of art (even if it’s Alvin and the Chipmunks!), and according to this Huffington Post article, crying is actually pretty good for you! So, go watch your favorite tearjerker or listen to your favorite sad song if you need to. Or just watch this adorable little girl cry her eyes out below.
Woo, it sure is getting dusty in here!
