I made these kid's kitchen treats last year for my kids. They loved them.
Ingredients:
- 3 cups mini marshmallows
- 5 cups Rice Krispies
- 2 tablespoons butter
- Yellow and red food coloring
- Fresh mint leaves
- Semi-sweet chocolate chip mini morsels
Directions:
- Slowly melt butter in a large saucepan. Add marshmallows and stir until fully melted. Remove from heat.
- Add food coloring, per the instructions on box, to make marshmallows pumpkin orange.
- Add Rice Krispies and mix well. Allow to cool slightly.
- Using clean damp hands, form Rice Krispies into Pumpkin shaped balls. (Damp hands help prevent sticking) Allow to cool and harden.
- Place one mint leaf on each pumpkin as a stem and use chocolate chips to create fun faces.
Enjoy!
