1. Visit a corn maze.

2. Go on a hay ride.

3. Rake up a pile of leaves and jump!

4. Visit a pumpkin patch.

5. Carve, paint, or decorate pumpkins.

6. Bake a pumpkin or apple pie from scratch.

8. Cuddle up with hot chocolate and popcorn for a family-friendly Halloween movie. Try Hocus Pocus, It's the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown, or Ghostbusters.

9. Make leaf art.

11. Go for a bike ride through a trail of beautiful autumn trees.

12. Visit the library for fall-themed books and read them at bedtime.

13. Plant bulbs that will bloom in the spring, like tulips.

14. Go to a local football game.

15. Bake and decorate pumpkin or leaf-shaped cookies.

16. Camp out in your backyard, roast marshmallows and tell stories.
